I thought I would share this great photo of a very successful Mallard shoot in the late 1800's/early 1900/s. I can't make out the make of the double hammer gun leaning on what I assume is a corn crib blind? Is that in fact a blind?
Also, that appears to be a Golden Retriever he is hunting with. If this is an American photo it has to be one of the earliest photos of a Golden Retriever, since very few of them had been introduced to America before 1900.
