Mine has been doing this occasionally since I bought it. But, so does my Beretta. If I take it out and put it in the top barrel, it usually fires. This tells me...........absolutely nothing actually. So, I just reload it, start screaming, "BAD GUN!! YOU'RE NAUGHTY!! NAUGHTY!!" and it doesn't do it anymore until the next time I flinch and look like a fool. But with the Mad Cow, I don't remember it anyway. End of problem.......Denny
