I know many of you were out banging away at doves, grouse or something else. It was blue grouse for me. They are tough on our front range but the population seems to be on an upswing. I bagged 2 of the 3 I shot at today and flushed a total of 4 birds. I ran into another couple guys in the same draw I hunted this morning and they put 7 birds up about 5 minutes before I bumped into them. I had out the brace of Springers this morning and shot my EC Ogden sidelock 12 bore. All in all I had a great day. How was yours?
