Bill's got a closet collection of old Parkers that conforms to his Model 70 definition of beauty. His pretty ones are for friends. The one's he really adores are the former.

I share Gunny's question in that I've got a super and old Model 54 here in 270 Winchester. Just about collector quality ( by my definition), but has bee drilled and tapped on the receiver for an old side mount. I'd like to find someone who could TIG it and restore the receiver's appearance as close as possible to factory.
