I was at friends and a friend of his has a sxs that her late husband hunted with all his life (she was looking to have some one clean the gun up) we took off forearm (pull away like Remington 1900) and rust but surface rust, has one hammer left side (with a interesting fix to keep hammer from falling off) other side missing, Laminated Steel marking but looks fluid steel?, 30 1/8" bar., front trigger pull 13 1/4", right side rec. says machine made, left side rec. says Mears Arms Co, pistol grip, splinter froearm, Steel butt plate, hammers, top lever, if interested I have photos to email in group and med size fast down load.
