i have an beautiful vh 28 ga on 000 frame 28" bbls.choked imp cyl/imp cyl does anyone know how many of this configuration were made ? thanks for the info.

A 28ga Parker with OOO frame would be rare. Most are either O or OO frames. The .410s had the OOO frame.

According to The Parker Story there were 503 28-ga. VH's made with 28" barrels.

I don't think the gentleman made the slightest move toward offering his gun for sale. I'm sure he has no intention of offering it for sale. However, if anyone would wish to PM him to ask him about that possibility, they wouldn't have to go over to the PGCA forum to do it. They could do it right here.

Now, now. We all know the gentleman's post is the classic variation of the "I have this old gun I'll never sell but I just want to know how rare it is and what she's worth in case I decide to sell it (hint hint)" post. Whether this particular bloke has that intention, who knows? Besides, we all know intention may fall by the wayside when mention of the right number of dollars accompanies a PM.
Anyway, not all PGCA posters read this BB. He should make sure he posts it there too to maximize his buyer pool.
