Most possums are shot head on as they charge so it's sort of a reverse lead. Don't worry about the guns on concrete Jim. I keep them in good shape. I keep a pan of used motor oil from my truck and wipe down any scratches in the wood or on the metal on a regular basis.

I hope to live long enough to see the day when the 'O' is restored in everyday language to that most deserving and regal of animals, the Opossum. I would no sooner call the King of the Jungle an ion.

Does the feast include 2 shots of Lipitor?

Gotta love a Opossum gun.

William, I grow owl's beaks in my darkened basement. So if you need any for flavoring, let me know and I will send you some.

It must have been one of your babies then that made it here to New York State this summer, probably on a 40 foot trailer load. It ended up destroying a local farmer's crop almost overnight. I was called in and after a long stalk I was able to drop it with my 416 Rigby using a frontal brain shot. We estimated that the tail where it joined the body had to be at least 17 inches in diamter.

A "brace" of possums. Is that like a "couple" of beers?

Does Angle Port make a 'possum-tuned shotgun? I'm sure they will, now.

Are you related to HomelessJoe?
Favorite weapon is lil' CZ 452 bolt gun threaded for a can (shipment that was to go to UK arrived in US ) with Eley subsonic HPs and compact "snowflake" scope.

Brother Gerald,

Good to see you've joined us here on the Double Gun Forum. I'll be back home in Southern Illinois over the weekend. I have several guns and several jugs that have been submitted for testing at the "Pabst Blue Ribbon Proof House" so we will be busy.

Regards,
Brother Destry
