It may have been an accidental discharge but allowing the muzzle to be pointed in an unsafe direction was pure carelessness. The same event, with the muzzle pointed safely, as it should always be, would have been nothing more than embarrassment. DON'T let your friends, strangers or squadmates get away with unsafe gun handling. We're all members of the "SAfety Committee".
