I looked at a 12ga Lightning today.
The rib is loose from the "short rib" at the breech to a point about mid way down the 26" barrel.
Who & how much to repair this?
If I buy this gun I would prefer to have the repairs done myself so I need to fairly negotiate the purchase price to allow for this repair.
As to the price for this Super. ASSUME that the repair was not needed.
26" Lightning, short tang, 1968 gun (no sign of salt damage). Heavy blueing wear on the bottom of the action. Tight lock up. Say it is an 85% gun. What would you pay?

PS I am thinking of this gun for my wife. A bit lighter than my 32" gun. Mine also has double triggers which confuses her. Thanks.
