The colors on the NID are better than they look in the pic. I'm sure they were never as dark as the LC and they have been worn some. The LC had a light coat of lacquer applied to the colors and has seen very, very little use. Both guns are mechanically perfect with plain but good condition wood. The NID is a 1929 and the NID is a 1947.

Now I have to decide which one to carry in the woods on opening day.
