My name is Gordon Disharoon. Katie and Jessie are our two English Cockers. Katie hunts(Quail) and Jessie entertains. I am a Regional Service Rep. for a Street Sweeper company. I travel 49 weeks a year and my wife and I never fight(Wonder why).
My best gun is is probably my James Carr BLE.

I've always been leery of using my real name on a public internet site, or of advertising the make or model of my "best" gun. As I may have explained before, I just use the movie star's name as my moniker here in hopes of getting phone numbers from hot chicks.
Since I wouldn't want to divulge the model of my Purdey here, I'll just say my best gun is an E.M. Reilly & Co boxlock with sleeved barrels and a knot-hole in the stock. Sorry I could not have been more forthcoming about all this personal stuff...Geo

I'm Jay Gramith. Gunflint Charlie was the name of my first field-bred springer, who trained me a whole lot more than I did him. I haven't owned many guns. My best is a 16 ga. M-21 field grade with 28" barrels that was restocked to fit me -- with straight grip stock and Merkel style splinter. It's a fine pheasant killer, at 6-3/4 lbs. just right for 1-1/8 oz. loads.
Others I own and won't let go are a 28 ga. Parker Repro bought during the closeout, and a 12 ga. Win. M-23 European built like a game gun -- straight grip stock with little drop, long LOP, 3/8" cast off, checkered rosewood buttplate, splinter forend with ebony wedge tip, and 28" barrels with swamped solid rib.
I'm an on-line production manager for a legal publisher. In 3 years I'll have 35 years with the company, and then it will be time to retire -- while still in good health, I hope.

My name is Paul. The best gun I've ever owned is a no-name (as in, there is absolutely no maker nor retailer shown on the gun anywhere) German guild .250-3000 double rifle built in the 1920s, which I still take for a walk in the woods during deer season most years. If I weren't well past 50, I might even be able to shoot it at something over 50 yards with a chance of connecting. I hate to scope it, but I'm going to have to in order to be able to continue to use it. A close second in the rifle category is my Brian Burgin built Greener small frame Martini .22 that Ken Hurst was kind enough to engrave some years ago. What a delightful small game rifle.
If we're limited to shotguns, I'd have to say an 1890s Thomas Turner 12 gauge BLE with nitro-proofed Damascus barrels (1998 London proof) which I bought from Hill Rod & Gun while Duncan still owned the place.

Only my mother called me Kingsley; elsewhere King Brown. "Best" gun is the one I shoot best: 20ga SKB o/u single-trigger.

Yep Jimmy I'm 60 too and I guess retired as a disabled vet,of course it all in my head say the doc's. The only gun I have now is a great B.C.MyLuck Lux II given to me by Gunny Scott Bunker of the USAF whom I hope visits in the next couple of weeks.
I guess many folks still fear if they post their guns ser.# some one will pop up and claim its theirs.Bill Wise used to say if you are affraid we wil steal your gun maybe you are on the wrong forum.A 32XX didn't help much while tring to build his Daly records. Slate from the north country was also his dogs name and RipRap was what black and white dogs were called in his part of the country. Don't know how Franc Otte got that name spelling from Brummy or is it Midlander
