Depends on whether you prefer costume parties to hunting parties. Some guys spend more hours thinking about how they look afield, than they actually spend hunting. When one encounters these catalogue cowboys out hunting (usually close to their cars), they are gorgeous to behold.

Personally - because I look like a slob no matter what I wear - I'd skip the leather and choose purely practical gear.
