I'm of the same opinion as the others on the practicality of leather in the field. I find it heavy, and lacks insulating properties, but very stylish. Might be nice for a less physical type of hunt like a driven shoot or such. My upland hunting usually requires me to strip down to a cotton shirt and jeans such that I'm cold standing still. But I live in CA.
