Money orders are the same as a check, usually it takes your bank 4 days to see that a check clears, it also takes that same amount of time for a money order to clear the bank it was originally bought from.
I'm saying 4 days because I do my banking online and I can see if the check cleared the bank. If you have to go to your bank it might be longer because of paperwork and tellers.
