As a member that just posted a specific Handgun/FFL/Shipping question to this board, let me respond. I don't feel that I was lazy in doing so. My friend had spent multiple phone calls to the manufacturer and a few nights browsing the ATF, PA, and NY government sites all with very confusing and conflicting results. That's when he contacted me.. We both concluded that the safest way would be to have the selling dealer handle both send and receive transactions. BUT.....
All I was asking of this very knowledgeable board was if anyone had experienced a similar situation......and what their opinions were...(which BTW they did very well)
We all, at times, have to bite out collective lips when a new person asks the 'What's my grandfather's gun worth' question..but how we handle these types of questions encourage new members to join us and keep this board lively.
You've got over 2600 posts on this board and you just turned 53...As a 'Senior' member of this board I hope you remain tolerant of what you consider 'lazy' questions..
