Not directed toward anyone in particular, but I can't understand why posts inquiring about gun laws keep popping up here. Questions primarily about shipping, but others from time to time about transfers, assorted legalities.
We are not the people to ask. You may say, and may be right, that even the folks at ATF can't make sense of some laws, can't give you a straight answer. But at least if you get a wrong answer from them, and take the time to document who gave you that answer and when, you might be covered.
But if you run into trouble with a transfer or the like, what are you going to tell the authorities, "but, Recoil Rob on gunshop.com said it was OK...". I don't think that's going to be much help.
Do yourself a favor next time you have a question, call ATF or whoever your local jurisdiction is, write down the number you called, the time you called, the name of each person you speak with along with their extension, and the answer you get. Doesn't matter what's said here then, your ass is covered.
As to pics... you guys are some of the smartest guys I know, in person or online. I'm sure many of you started businesses, or are very successful in your chosen fields.
No one here is too "dumb" to learn how to post their own pictures. There's a tutorial provided by Dave, it's a simple procedure. Yet, I keep reading posts in which the author declares himself to be too inept to post his own pics. Too lazy is more appropriate.
I feel better. I turned 53 yesterday, maybe that's it...
