Looking at the photo of the locks, isn't it a back action rather than a bar action? Great looking gun though. I hope AyA finds it in their heart to offer it in a plainer grade for we pedestrians.

KMcMichael, thank you, I don't think so either. Edward King is the son of one of the King brothers mentioned in the webpage and is a close friend. My first shotgun was an AYA and I think this hammer gun will make a nice driven pheasant tool as well as giving me fond memories of my first shotgun and of a good friendship, best, Mike

Eightbore, as a friend of Edward King I can ask for you if you like, I think if you wish you could get it plain and then engraved with the pattern of your choice. The price I mentioned was quoted to me in £GBP, i.e. £8k, best, Mike
