Correct. It is the tipping barrel type and I agree, it is more labor intensive then top lever but I personally get a kick out of it in the field. From an engineering perspective it's quite interesting and functional but again not as "field functional" as a top lever.
Anyone else on the forum into drillings?
I did manage to bag a coyote with the rifle last year while pheasant hunting in S. Dakota.
Nice drilling with the horn triggerbow, sling swivels, cheekpiece and also with the wing safety you would also see on a Sauer & Sons Tell stalker. But I'm not a real big fan of the forward underlever. But this Wilhelm Collath(Teschner-Collath) looks to be the tipping barrel type.
