Franchi, I'd pass on this BL-6, based on the new info, unless you like short barrels and open chokes. I would not put choke tubes in it. I have a Ruger Red Label and it's a great little gun. I highly endorse it, and much prefer its handling to my Beretta 686. Some Rugers come from the factory with killer wood, but you have to get lucky. I have an early 20 gauge skeet (blued frame) with fantastic wood, and I know a guy with a RRL 12 that has even better wood. Ruger has their equivalent of a custom shop that is putting out some fairly fancy guns, so you might contact them and see if you can buy a wood upgrade, either with the gun or afterwards.
