Tho my 'Net time is much reduced, nowadays, the topic addressed at length in the blog/URL found below, recently appears to have been a popular one here. The info at the link reflects the uncertainties of what citizens of one country, once felt were certainties. At the least, it may occasion some reflective thinking, upon the part of the reader. ;~`)

In no way do I wish to hi-jack topic space here, but the answers and opinions in response to Lowell's query apparently have caused a disturbance in the Force, which factor serendipitously deposited this URL to my inbox

http://www.backpackfever.com/2008/01/21/survival-after-economic-meltdown/

and, current updates: http://www.ferfal.blogspot.com/

Please note that I place this on the board as sort of a 'read only'. A string of commentary and speculation is not necessary. I certainly trust the readership at large, to draw their own conclusions, as much as they believe or disbelieve the narrative cited may apply or not, to themselves.

Disclaimer: so far as I know, the blog is not a work of post-meltdown fiction, tho it certainly fleshes out the realities.
