Hi Gang:

i just got off of thephone with the gunshop re the Bl 6. What I learned really broke my heart.

The gun has 26" barrels choked skeet and skeet. I can now understand why the outside as such a well used patina. The stock is a p.g. style.

Knowing this additional infaormation, how does it alter your idea as its value? I could have choke tubes installed to make it a hunting gun.

Perhaps I should stick to the idea of purchasing a used/new Ruger Red Label and restocking it with killer wood. However, I always liked the feel of the Beretta Bl 4,5,6 in the sub gages. This particular BL 6 is now sounding that it is overpriced.

Any suggestions as what to do and is the price too high for a BL 6 skeet gun? I am guessing that a skeet gun would be heavier than the same gun in the field grade.

Thanks again,

Franchi
