I'd much rather have a nice BL-6 than just about any other commonly available O/U 28 on the market (which is not to imply that the BL-6 is common). If this gun is 28", M/F, with decent dimensions, the price is OK. If it has a straight grip, I'd jump on it at that price. If it has 26" barrels or open chokes, I'd pass, but that's just me. Put $500 into the cosmetics and you have a better gun than can be bought for $4K new.
