It looks about 40 grand over interesting to me.

At that price it will probably be in the Griffin & Howe Museum for a long time.

Check out this Scott that they have:
http://www.griffinhowe.com/gunpics/W.C.%20Scott%20Premier%2042494.jpg

It's a Premier 12g. $30gs.

They're calling it all original. Sure looks redone to me.

Check out how the dolls head on the bbls fits into the case.

Like that's factory.

Nice gun, though.

Very interesting gun. I'm sure Joe could replicate it in a fortnight. At least in his own mind.

For the rest of us - thanks for the pic.

That Scott sure has some purty blue screws...don't know that much about that Scott action but I don't think it's one of the more desirable actions.

Check out the Clabrough hammer gun http://www.griffinhowe.com/usedgun-sg.cfm

G%H wants $1750...inside the back cover of the August NRA magazine they call this is a trade gun worth $300 ?

Look at the Webley & Scott Hammergun for $2,650.00 it's pretty apparent how Scott's name went down when it was mixed with Webley.

I'd say it's $1600 over priced ?

For the record, the maker (retailer?) is actually Joseph Jourjon who happened to be located in the town of Rennes which is the capital of Brittany.
It's quite a museum piece all right.

OWB- you have the close attention to detail I try to develop (I'm a die-hard varmint shooter) You are right- the doll's head is resting on the wood framing at the end of the case- a factory original case would not look like that-just for that detail alone- Congrats-nice gun- is it an ejector grade? Way outa my league- but as they say- "just 'cause a man is on a diet, don't mean he can't read the menu all he wants!"" RWTF
