Agree with jack that the stock to frame fit appears better than anything I've seen in many photos of the Launch Edition.

Saw a Galazan ad that pictures an RBL LE with a current 28 ... can't be sure from the angle of the photo but it looks like the 28 has a different line from the topstrap to the sides of the frame. Has anyone here seen both who can comment on this?

did you have the chokes opened or did you order it that way. I thought 30" only came in M&F.

Galazans changed their minds about the chokes a few weeks after they started taking orders. You can order any constrictions you want on any barrel length.

Brian, congratulations on acquiring such a lovely gun! Takes my breath away to realise Americans are actually making such stuff!

Brian, my original order had 26"bbls and the current choke. When I found that I could get any barrel length with Sk/IC, I opted for the longer length.
If they hadn't changed, I would have 26"bbls. today. Choke trumps barrel length with me. If the gun fits, you can shoot any barrel length pretty affectively.
For those who don't know, you can also get two barrel sets for $1,500 more.

Interesting that the Serial # is less than some of the LEs that were delivered.

The serial numbering is an interesting observation. It would appear Tony held back a block of serial numbers from the Launch Edition and is using them on the 28's. If this is the case from what I seen posted less than 3000 Launch Edition guns were produced.

I have a Buddy that should have his 28 either tomorrow or Monday. I'll let you know were that one lies for numbers.
