Of course not. The first part of my reply gave him my best answer. Nowever, I'm taking for granted that GSPizzy is not legally prohibited from buying or owning a firearm himself. If that's true there's no reason, under the intention of the law that she can't buy the gun as a gift for him. To Shooting Star: The reason I mentioned the Sarah Brady situation is because when it was in the news that she bought a rifle for her son there was a bit of a flap going 'round that she might have broken the law by buying a gun for someone else. This was the first time some of us realized you COULD buy a gun as a gift and be OK with answering "no" to the question about the gun being for yourself. Not suggesting she "is a great mom". She's an Adam- Henry, IMO.
