IGNORE?
BUTTON?
At some point in my 40 something years I found I could ignore people.....was really kinda freaky the first few times when I came "TO" just in time for the "Are you EVEN listening to me?! admonishment.....did not know a button was needed or even so much as an option at that point, it just happened..."I swear!"
IT was and still seems to be "built in"...no button needed.
Is there something intrinsic to the BBS form of communication that challenges or disables our built-in "ignore button" ?
Don't recall many backdoorish pitching of fits or attempted filtering of opinions not "of my viewpoint" that resulted in sooo many pissing matches when face-to-face with folks?
We have such a huge variety of age, experience and knowledge here at all kind of different levels that I would hope the "button" would not be used by anyone.
Do we have Trolls?.....Somewhere there are lonely bridges.
Do we have experts in any particular field?......Name a state and we have an expert in a field in that state shooting birds or engraving (barefoot?), or teaching gun saftey, or propping up his/her barb-wire with a 311 for the night......

Do we have "Regular Joes"......Actually not? Does anyone here go by "Joe".....and are you "regular"?
At the extreme ends of things.... do we have "left wingers" and "right wingers".......you bet we do!
Thats why everybody so lucky brags about shooting a "left and a right" right?
Damn middle-of-the-roaders!
Bottom line for me is...I'm going to listen to what everyone sez here...and I hope I remember it all.
I won't agree with any of it, some of it, most of it....all of it?
And neither should anyone else here feel compelled to disagree, or agree for the sole reason someone sez it's so...or for any other reasons other than that based on their own experiencees.
I would just hope everyone comes away from here with something learned, pure and simple...at some point. And if not...I hope they come back anyway, cant imagine they would come up dry the second time?
Everyone here would seem to have something positive to contribute if they stay positive?
Best,
Mark
