It was a total in house project. Chuck Smith remembered two ladies filling the cans and crimping the lead tops. I think it was essentially 3-in-one oil with a cedar scent added. I have a can, and seen others, that have a silver paper band covering the black band on the bottom of the can. I don't know when or why they did this. Without going upstairs to check, I think it said Ithaca Oil Co. But it was all in house.
