Amen Mike- same reason I don't list mine-I get some of the goofy Nigerian bank check "offers' and a few "lewd ladies" peddling God knows what- I send them to the junk pile and hit the "phising reporting key"- after that, who knows where they go- worst than the frickin' telemarketers that always call at dinner time- friend of mine works for Verizon has the remedy for that- keeps his phone volume up to max at evening time- and a large soup kettle with a fitted lid handy- as soon as they start their pitch- he puts the cordless phone set into the kettle and sets the lid on tight- Works like a charm!!
