If you send it UPS, send it next day air, second day air or third day air with a signature required. Insure it and you'll be OK. That is the long way around to saying don't ship it ground.

USPS appears to have sufficient care in handling to encourage the hope after four trips out and back that a heavy wall cardbd tube is sufficient to the purpose. It appears that a heavy schedule PVC pipe would require no respect whatsoever so that's good also. I like your illustrated Fox disassembly sticky on the Fox collectors' forum, Mike.

Thanks, Jack. I've been meaning to amend those instructions with a little tip somebody gave me; sorry I don't remember who that was. If you loosen the large diameter sear spring screw just a tad, it relieves tension on the sear axle and the axle removes and installs more easily. Just retighten after repacing the axle. Dang, I wish I'd thought of that 20 years ago!

Thanks for all the ideas. I believe I'll try the PVC and put it inside a cardboard box.
Appreciate the help!

Where I worked before I retired, Mike, they would pay $10,000 for something you would think they could buy for $20.00 at Home Depot. $20,000 for a small bearing or special piece of crap. Then it would sit for six months until someone threw it away. So, yes, I have seen a piece of pipe or threded rod or some piece of crap cost a lot more than that in my day.

Jimmy, Sounds like you worked for GM or Delphi, though they are really still one and the same.

Nope, but you are real close. AK Steel- Middletown, Ohio. And we were/are suppliers for GM, Ford. The sole supplier for Saturn for the first several years. Now for all automotive like Toyota, Honda, etc. Washers and dryers, Batesville casket company in Indiana. GE, Square D. etc., etc. For years our tubing plant was the sole supplier for Huffy Bicycles-(sold that years ago). About the only company in the US that is going well. Stock went from about $20.00 a share to over $70.00 in the past year. They send me a check at the end of the month and about the time I get that one spent they send me another one. Just keep em comin'!!
