Taking your kind words of advice to heart, Rob- I have turned off the volume on the speaker next to the screen! I'm in my sixties and my hearing is going, so the volume here escapes me I guess- RWTF

Point well taken- in deference to your proof reading skills, and my lack thereof, I went back on this thread and deleted those damned quotation marks. We are both from the Mid West my friend, as is Bob Dylan- I though we were supposed to use them to set off special words of phrases, I guess I was wrong, and I appreciate your kindness in pointing that out to me.I will take careful steps to insure that it doesn't happen again. I have a friend with a coin finished Orvis AYA 20 gauge sidelock, a copy of the Holland and Holland with the detachable sidelock lever, and words cannot describe it, so in a sense, that Escopeta has coined a word, or quizas, dos palabras, no es verdad??

Forgive me but I believe that the attempt at humor on this site should be reserved to the Sunday comics. They are not particularly funny nor is the humor here. Please, save the over the fence chatter to Ann Landers column.

Bob Dylan? "If you see her say hello, she might be in Tanger-r-r-r-r-r-rs. She left here last early spring- still living there I hear-r-r-r-r-r. Say for me that I'm all right, though sometimes things are slow-w-w-w-w. If she thinks that I've forgot her- then tell her it isn't so-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o."

Forgive me but I believe that the attempt at humor on this site should be reserved to the Sunday comics. Personally, I think Jim Legg is funnier than anything in the Sunday comics. Especially when he is trying to be serious.. Brent There must be some way out of here," said the joker to the thief, There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief.

And having had cancer, or maybe still having it, I can do without some of the comments, that are not about Doubleguns. Especially in the For Sale column. Sell your collectible pump guns and so forth on Gunbroker, or Guns Interntional, or wherever. Site is called DoubleGunShop. (SORRY, finally got PO'd with all the BS; Dave, PLS dont ban me :(, alot of good information here). Mr. Legg, you are just trying to be funny, right?, that's what I thought, anyhow.

You are forgiven Calif. guy- but Ann Landers is dead, so I hear-and I never put much stock in any women who write in newspapers for any reason, except the late Dorothy Parker- distant kin to the great Bros. Parker- this is a "guys code" forum- if you can't take the heat, get outta da kitchen- and Calif- with "Da Guv-Ja-- gave us the Beach Boys and wine in a box, so all the Silicon Valley Yuppies with their "Dude- surf's up" can't be all that bad I guess- Dude is a Western term for a pimple/boil on a horse's back due to an improperly placed blanket and cinched saddle-
