The open forum "for sale" section has pretty much worked out alright except when someone's on-line persona invites trouble. JL's .410 "ad" was nothing more than an invitation to be taken to task and I can't help but think it must have been on purpose to make the point he is pursueing in this thread. jOe had the same problem trying to sell his hammergun/ what a surprise! Worse, I was interested in both their guns. JMHO...Geo

Sam everything has a happy ending...the Ol'cowboy has found Jim a Browning 42 at Cabelas http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/conten...erarchyId=10472 ...along with my quick thinking we have a solution. I'm calling Cabelas first thing in the morning and setting up the trade....Jim's Ugartechea .410 SxS he's trying to sell heads up for the Browning. (with Mr. Jims permission of course) If it goes down as planned Jim owes Dave 20 bucks and me and Ol'Cowdoy Moody 10 bucks apiece...sound fair ?

I believe I'd think twice before complaining about something that a man gives to you free basically as a gift. If you sell it's on the honor system. I can't think of a much better deal and I wonder about a man who complains so much about such a minor bother. You aren't helping your self here. No one has done anything to the info you posted. I'd lighten up and have more fun with my hobby if I were you. Advice worth what you paid for it Jim, but I'd give it another thought anyway.

I am happy to modify forum permissions so long as the majority of users agree that it is cool.
