Pmag(Pete?), after all these years of flare-ups, rants n raves, I've found my groove - like an old record.

I know West Nile virus is a generic off-putter but what is there about crow diet and habits that would make it a foul fowl? I wonder if Grackel are a gustatory delight? They run with the Starlings; you could have "duplex" pie from one flock-buster.

Good topic. How about railyard pigeons as table fare? Easy to get, plentiful, and they eat mostly grain off the cars and tracks. Weren't they a popular dish through the early 20th century in Europe? Pigeon Pie anyone? Don't they taste pretty much like doves, since they're a large dove?

When you eat on 'em Rabbit, don't you be thinking about what they've been eatin'. Them beggers are nasty birds!
I think West Nile has run its course - the crows are back.

A much better diet than the stinkin' crows pick-on.
The older I get, everything tastes the same - no so bad when retirement is down the road.

I think I'll stick with groundhog the "other white meat". Cornfed is good!
