The new state of the art $91 million National Infantry Museum is nearing completion now at Fort Benning and is scheduled to open on March 20 of next year, according to a brief article in the morning paper here. This is a scan of the low quality black and white photo that ran with the article, not very good, but shows something of the massive new facility. This was under discussion a couple days ago here. If you are within driving distance, this will be an excellent trip. It's actually off post, on acquired lands adjacent to Benning.
