I voted yes to allow limited comment and negotiation. eg, I as a prospective buyer may have a question which other prospective buyers would appreciate having answered too; comparison and contrast with other guns could be useful too, but if mishandled are destructive. I hope we could all post in the spirit of the board and use our judgement to post appropriately; it seems we cant. Perhaps we need some rules on what is appropriate and not. RG

That's what some guys do to keep their item at the top of the page...kinda silly and selfish looking to me. But if you get no replys and the PM function does not work, how else to keep an ad from getting buried? So even though I do not collect or deal in high-end doubles, I do on occassion have a good workhorse shooter I would like to let go of. So I voted yes.

Back at you Jimmy W., I re-read your post and mine too, and I didn't say (I think) that you said the sale of Colts and M 37s should be permitted here. Actually, I thought I was pretty much in agreement with you. We should be careful about the Colts as they did make a few double guns. Otherwise, I'll say it again, I hope this site doesn't change a bit. This thread is a perfect example of a well balanced diet. Meat and potatoes, fruits and nuts. I'll let you decide which I am. But I am amazed and amused by some of the varied opinions here. Geez, look at that line in a post on pg.3..."And if someone persists with the inappropriate posts, then terminate them-- with extreme prejudice." Good Lord, in the popular vernacular, terminate with extreme prejudice means to kill them. What's next, a poll to see if we should kill Homeless jOe for sometimes being a ballbuster? Don't answer that Jim L... the poor guy admits to being homeless and has to shoot used British doubles 'cause he can't afford Parkers. I am reminded of Rodney King saying, "can't we all just get along" and also reminded of former Washington Redskins RB, John Riggins at a dinner with Supreme Court justice Sandra Day O'Conner saying "Loosen up Sandy baby... you're too tight." Other than that, isn't our site administrator great for running this like a Democracy and polling us for our opinions? Thanks Dave.
Voting for anti-gun Democrats is dumber than giving treats to a dog that shits on a Persian Rug

Hey Keith-love your reply-so John "Diesel" Riggins told old Sandy to "loosen it up Baby" wow-I always liked his style with the Redskins- straight up- no Gayle Sayers or "Sweetness" shuckin' and jivin' down the field- Destry-I like your style- but I will admit referring to poor old Joseph as being as popular as cancer might have been a tad "over the top"- RWTF

Just to add my two cents worth . I voted "yes" and would go so far as to allow other kinds of shotguns. But as several of us have said "It's up to Dave" and not us.He's the one that is doing the donkey work and should be the sole judge. But I appreciate being asked. Best Regards Gene

Folks this is a simple poll with no verbage needed but we get the same stuff as seen on the for sale site.Hard to believe at times that the average age here is about fifty and we are supposed gentelmen of the doublegun and the quail fields. Your quail fields must be different than mine, Will. Around here 10 people will shoot at the same bird and then fistfight over who takes it home. Half of them scream they shot first so it belongs to them. The other half scream that they shot it last so it should be theirs.....HA-HA...... I don't know why people need to sit and see others negotiating a gun sale. Must be a lot of women on here with masculine names or just a bunch of nosy ol' farts.

I wonder why it seems that everyone does not include their e-mail address in their profile? It would make contacting each other so much easier and eliminate many problems. I've sent three messages this week and still no response to a for sale add where there is no e-mail address in the users profile, it would seem to me if you want to sell something you would make it easy to contact you. Glen I don't include mine because I am trying to keep it private from spammers. There is some program that goes through the internet looking for email addresses. Best, Mike
I am glad to be here.

Then where do you get your Viagra and breast enlargement, and you have a friend in Africa trying to get money to you that you're missing out on.
