I suppose if you were having an debate with a habitual post deleter you could use the "Quote" feature at the bottom of his post to lock in his previous argument or statement of "fact".

No, the guy you're talking about, although very knowledgeable, had no sense of humor, was extremely impatient, and was intolerant for anyone else's point of view. He deleted posts because people who would argue and challenge him would eventually piss him off and he would, "Take his ball or more to the point his posts and go home".
Fox, just angered someone over there on the Parker Board, but that's an easy thing to do.

Ah Joseph- my "homeless" mentor-critic and rabbi here- if you can kindly show me how my deleting a question in a "thread" I posted "wrecks" it for you or some of your "Volunteer State Cadre" I'll be more than willing to comply with your requests- I am here to learn, by asking questions- once answered, I thought the proper thing to do would be to "delete" so others can have room herein-I assume that "Homeless" is a nickname- hard to imagine the Shelters and Beacon of Light Rescue Missions having secure lockers where you can stash your Parker GHE 28 gauge until quail season opens-right??
