When I sent out the fliers I got last years date on them. Then I found out that the range had arrainged for a 100+ free kid shoot with lunch, on the same day. I could just see kids falling into S/S shotguns, dust, begging my wife for cookies, etc. So we changed the shoot to Tri - County Gun Club. Below is the information. I will also be sending out mailers to every one this week. John
P. N. W. S/S Gold Coin Shoot
Saturday July 12, 2008
Tri-County Gun Club
13050 S. W. Tonquin Road
Sherwood, Oregon 97140
Division Shoots - 1st and 2nd Place knives for top two Ladies’ scores
50 Rounds: Sporting Clays , Skeet, or 5 Stand with Kershaw knife trophy for winner in each division using Side/Side shotgun.
Gold Coin Shoot
Based on 75 rounds; 50 Sporting Clays and 25 rounds 5 Stand, or Skeet using S/S shotgun.
In order to create an interest in Side by Sides among younger people, this contest will be weighted by age. Using a base of 60 years old, for every year under sixty you get an addition point added to your score. Example: if you are 60 and shoot a score of 40 you would get a final score of 40. If you are 30 and shoot a 30 you would get a score of 60. The winner will be determined by a 5 Stand shoot off among the top four shooters at 4:00 p.m.
