Of all the gun buying, looking and finding I've done I've never had so much trouble as I'm having finding a PLAIN 26" Remington 870 12g barrel!
I spoke with Corsons and he said many were chopped down. I've found 28 and 30" ones but no 26" barrels. Ideally I want an older one with the ordinance steel ring where the barrel goes into the receiver.
For a matted plain 26" barrel I would pay a handsome price but I haven't even seen a gun with one of these. My 98% 1950 deluxe is just screaming for one to compliment the 28" matted barrel.
I figured that because members here are scattered across the country this might be the best chance I have. Any leads will be greatly appreciated.
