Has anyone come across a Darne sliding breech type shotgun with one piece stock marked Granet-Dieppe on the lower portion of the left barrel.The moderator on the Darne site states that Granet was a gun dealer at Dieppe between 1930 and 1950.We are working on other marks.Trying to determine if other guns exist and possibly if were imported and sold in the U.S.

Have never seen any Dieppe dealer's name marked on any French gun. Dieppe is a relatively small city (under 50,000) and I would not expect a Dieppe dealer to run a very large operation.

Gun has a 10xxx serial#.A similar gun described in the Darne forum had a 7xxx serial number.Does anyone have one of these guns?
