Drove to a Big sporting goods store here in Michigan Called Jay's yesterday afternoon. I have a Hardtime finding over/unders that have enough drop at the comb for me.( I always end up looking over the the rib & bead. ) Anyway, got to swing a Mossberg Over/under 20Ga & A 410Ga shotgun also tried out a CZ Over/under 20 & 410 then made a bad mistake & Had her hand me a CZ Ringneck. Wow that side x side felt good!! Not as good as the Gold label, but it felt real nice for the $$ !! I May have to go back & get that CZ. The Mossberg's were Nice. the fit to finish is O.K. & For the money a Damn nice gun & They actually fit me! It Kind of suprised me, but they fit great! The CZ over/unders didn't fit me great but they were O.K.. Any of you fellers ever tried out any of these poor man Doubles?

Most guns fit me, in the shop. After about a week the newness wears off and the stock alters itself to the extent that I shoot to the same standard as I did with my trade in. Funny that.

Bet you're not the only one in that boat, Peter! Got to watch those Mossberg Silver Reserves. I think the toplever on the 20 ga. cocks the hammers. Not that I'd own one of course but one of my friends does hahaha. I prefer to spend my tuppence on hand-me-downs from a great maker like Browning. I wouldn't trade my 9C$ Superposed Lightning with the thinwall Brileys (part of the package) for all the Mossbergs in the world. I could probably be coaxed to look at a CZ double.

They are beautiful, also have a good track record for dependability !! All the best Thanks for the comps, they are sweet. I like the fact that the actions are gauge specific, 5 gauges, 5 actions. Seeing beater Stevens .410's for $800.00 these are so much more for another $300.00. Too bad Dehaan is not doing anymore off the shelf guns and going to special orders only. I got the last .410 and last of 2 28's. I wish now I would have gotten a 16 and a 20 also. Oh hell the 12 would be nice too! Good "working" guns.
