First what does this mean ( near breach and extending (in right barrel) down the barrel 8 inches)?
Second If anyone runs across a grade SXS like 16ga that can be fixed, I know I will never find one like that Baker again But: please get a hold of me PLEASE.
Third: I was wondering can these lazer engraver, engrave side plates?

I am trying to learn, The Baker that sold on here last week, haunts me.
Sorry
I will be great full for any help!
Greg

Near the breech...... means the end of the gun/barrel where you put the shells in. And extending......... means (whatever it is) is 8" along down the barrel. (2)I would think a laser engraver could engrave side plates, although why not contact Ken Hurst on this board? Can't help you with a Baker unless I run across one at a show. Good luck.

Jimmy, thank you for replying to my question, I am great full. You guys on here, are the upper crust of the classic Shotgun. The Baker I was talking about, was a person posted 5 bakers on here first of last week earler in the morning all nice guns, one was a top grade that the barrel had blew out, and he had picked up a Damususs barrel for it, he gave the guns away 1100. shipped to your ffl, but I couldn't afford them all, so I called him, and he priced me the Grade gun for a good price, but I could not get anything sold in time to buy it, I call it my dream gun, because I am a simple 52 year old man that has a bad back, have been in love with High Grade D.B. since I was about 20 years old, i don't remember exact date that Winchester started remaking the 23 pigeon grade, but I most of went to the same gun store 50 times looking at one, it was new and $850.00, you could by a Browning Super light 28 ga.OU for $535.00 out the door and that is what I bought. If i would have bought the 23 I wouldn't have it now anyway, so i buy old broke, junk doubles and fix them, but I wanted that Baker so bad. Maybe in a another life!
Have a goog Easter!
Thanks again for replying to me.
