Since i know very little about them , except for what I have read, they were a Hardware Store Gun. It is a sidelock, and pretty sad!! But when it was new it was a nice looking gun! Side plates were engraved, the reciever was engraved. If anyone has a good picture of one, i sure would be great full to see it. I still wished I would of had the money to buy those 5 Bakers that was posted on here last week, they had only been posted 15 mins, when I read it, and called the gentlemen, but life will go on!
Going to be a good job for next winter! It just breaks my heart to see such a fine piece of American made Firearm look like this!
I just wanted to let you all now, I got it, and that it is a side lock.
