This site always amazes me. I came home the other day after looking at one of these guns and had some questions about it only to see someone had just started a thread. I don't want to hijack it so I stared this one. Walt, I saw that you said these guns started around SN 6550. This guns SN is 36342.It has twist steel barrels, engraving around the name NIG and the buttplate has 2 geese or ducks. Also on the reciever flat is marked A 12. The left hammer wants to engage even without the trigger being pulled. Would this be a difficult fix for a dependable gunsmith? Were there many of these guns made?
Thanks Tom
