Hi I am new to this forum and wonder if anyone can answer a question for me. I have a few doubles that were handed down to me and I am curious about a couple of them. First is this Ithaca 12 ga. I think it is a grade 4E but after seeing a few other pictures I am not sure now. Any help is appreciated. The second double is a Kirkwood. I'll try to post pics tomorrow of that one. Take the barrels off and look at the water table. should be a 4 or a 5 over the gauge, 12 in this case.

There is early and later engraving patterns on the several 4e guns. They are different to a degree. Do not despair. Post the pics and the serial number. We can help.
