I just watched a show, channel 608, on a couple of guys shooting asian carp on the Illinois river with bows. These fish jump WAY out of the water behind a boat. Why cant we promote a shoot, double guns only, to help eradicate these pests? Imagine ! Hopeless Joe with his Purdy Purdey Purty Hammer gun in the back of a Jonboat, blowing these critters out of the sky/water!!! Glen Lowellthorne under the boat, hanging on to a rusting prestige SLE British piece! The experts on steel vs lead struggling for advantage ! Critics and nay sayers haveing a whole new venue!!!! The bind moggles!!! Shot size! Cartridge length! American vs British vs Turkish! Land use not an issue!
A whole new world!!! WOW!!!!!

Joe got it almost right. I took a BAD fall on the ice, and am kinda laid up. BUT, Hey Joe if you wanna geta trip up, I'll run the boat while you shoot.........And maybe a new breed of retriever dog could be developed, a submersilab? I know, bad humor...Sorry

And, um, while you're speeding your Jon boat along the river and blazing away at carp, what exactly is in the background behind the target?  Don't think I'd care to live on a river where that "sport" is popular...

If you had seen the show, one could conjure up all kinds of scenarios around what these guys were doing.......Sorry that anyone took it so seriously........Yes, Lowell I do have chores to do and today is the last day of our Pheasant season....One last thought?
