Gentlemen,
A local man has a SKB 100 with "brush marks on the stock" 28" mod/full for $475. This sounds like a good price, but I have not seen the gun. What to you think? Thanks greatly. Kurt

Even if it's a 12 ga., jump on it at that price.

I love shooting my SKB 100. My 20 gauge has been a fine grouse gun. In fact, I paid a bit more than what you have it available for. However, after refinishing the stock, it looks great and has gotten nice reviews. A solid shooter and if you can pick one up for that price, I don't think that you'll go wrong.

Definitely, if it's in good working order. The SKB 100 is ther most under-valued gun in the land.

That gun sells for near twice that here. I agree that they are the sleeper of the gun world. Best, John

I just posted about this the other day. Traded my friend a Mossberg bullpup for an SKB 100 12b 25" barrels w/4 choke tubes. His idea about the trade. Worked out great - he couldn't care less about SxS's and I didn't care about that Mossberg. Seems very well made to me. Like a Browning BSS for 1/3 the money.

Thanks for the replies! The gentlemen has not answered my messages so I suspect it is gone, but I will call him and see if its still available. Thanks again. At the price asked I assume any surgery costs are negligble, perhaps corns? Kurt
