There's a relatively new board moderated by Geoffroy Gournet. It started more for French shotgun (especially Darne)information trading, but there's room for other stuff, too, plus a space for guns for sale.

I know there's a lot of guys that are French shotgun enthusiasts; should be worthwhile.

We should all, Francophiles at least, thank Geoffroy deeply for starting this new board. There has been a need for such a board for quite some time. Geoffry has taken the frog by the horns and actually started one. Thanks again!

Thanks for the headsup, Craig. Never met him but saw his work at VC and he's just "up the road" in Easton, PA (home of Crayola). Definitely want to hear any discussion of Charlin. Seems up to now, Steve Bodio's site was about the only game in town.

Trust all interested in sliding breech guns have noted the Charlin and the V-19 Darne guns for sale at Holt's 13 December auction. Strongly suggest looking at the "Bore Measurement" list just below the "Online Catalogue" list as the Charlin has one barrel with just over 20 thou wall thickness...
