Any one exprienced(field)both nickel plated loads from B&P and Fiocci Golden Pheasant? How do they compare?
I find this out of the ordinary, I received a shipment of B&P shells form Kaltron yesterday, upon my visual exam, I noticed the head stamp on the 28ga shows Fiocci, not so on the16 or 12 though.

That is weird. The B&P 28 ga. loads have been my absolute favorite for a while (I'm using up a supply from the former distributor). Fiocchi not so much.

Don't worry amigo. My Montezemolo rain jacket has brass snaps with Fiocchi Italy stamped on them.

Doesn't Fiocchi make shells for other companies? I have 16ga marked Imperial, the old premium high-brass Canadian Industries Limited load.

Unless I have missed something, and I apologize if I have, B&P only makes one load, 3/4oz, in 28ga, the Extra Rossa, and it is not a nickel plated load, at least acording to their web site. I have shot this load at Sporting Clays and quail with total satisfaction.

The Fiocchi Golden Pheasant is a Nickel Plated load and can be had in a 7/8oz version at 1300+ fps. I have used this load in 28ga live pigeon events and have been tremendously impressed with the load. I believe I hit the birds harder with this load than with my 12 ga loads.
