Since the Parker board seems to be down, I'll try to help. I just refinished a Parker Repro. and putting it back together was harder than taking it apart, that's for sure! I don't think the problem is related to removing the sears if you put them back the way they came out. It's hard to say what the problem is with so little info, but I bet the cocking slide under the trigger plate is the culprit. The barrels must engage the hook and maybe something didn't get back the way it was. Will the barrels go on most of the way but the action won't close? Maybe the top lever release button with the tiny plunger (and spring inside) is binding or not free. Does it seem to work properly (releasing the top lever)? Also, is the hook that the barrels must connect to free? I'd start by taking off the trigger plate and see if everything went back the way it should. Hope this helps; if not, maybe a more specific explanation of the problem would help.
