Other then Galazan, who else makes a decent round action box lock SXS. I know Dakota arms has some made by SIACE, but they are priced out of my reach. I’m in the $H3~L4k market, any idea?

If your looking used..........check out the Manufrance Ideal in "guns for sale". This is a true round action. I have one with Bernard barrels and love it. One of the most simpliest designs ever.

I agree with Battle, except for the part about it being simple...the novelty of owning an Ideal can last a lifetime...there's not too many guns that can do that...and even less round actions that can hold your imagination for long time... if you can't live with the Ideal's rising bite lock-up, there are uasually guns made by Cordy (Liege) offered for sale here and there... except for a photo of 1 or 2, every Cordy SxS I've seen was a round action hammerless...boxlocks and sidelocks...to me, the name "Cordy" is almost synonomous with the round action...
They don't get much rounder than a Darne

I would save my $ and get something from North of LaManche. How about trigger plate action Lang utilizing Edwin Hughes pat. of 1875. Lockwork is by Stanton quality stuff loved by most Americans. The is no need to go into that extreme North wild country where men used to wear skirts and play them weirdo multi-horns! PS. The French guns are.......well, you know......

I don't know...French guns are what? French? Double proofed or triple proofed? Prone to going on lemming like missions before they surrender?

It is a nice gun indeed, just not sure about the sling, kinda have the clean English look in mind.
OT, no offence, but I can't understand what you are trying to say Jager, except about the kilt and bagpipe(I think). You are not a rapper by chance, are you?

BuzzB, How about a Fox? The 12g C grade falls into your price range.

Robert........you prolly never had a Ideal apart? Very few moving parts and easy to assembly.
The retractable sling is unique and works great! They come in handy from that long walk out of the open prairie.
