Is there anyone in the US who can take delivery of a gun and have Teagues fitted? It's a pain to send it over by itself.

Leo,
Teague replacements for factory OEM chokes are available for lots of makes and models. If you're asking about thin-walls, then only Teague in the U.K. can do that for you, and yes you'll have to ship your gun. No one in the U.S.A. or Canada (to my knowledge) is authorized to do that work for Teague.
I always buy my barrels from Litt's in Wales and have Andrew send them to Nigel Teague to be choked. When the gun is then imported into the U.S. it goes through Charlie Schneible at British Sporting Arms Ltd. Charles can also act as your exporter if you need one. See his site at: http://www.bsaltd.com/

You could also have Briley do the thin wall work and either use Briley chokes or Teagues...the thread pattern is the same. See Briley at: http://www.briley.com/

The Teague web site has been down lately...perhaps it's back up now. Otherwise call Nigel Teague at: 011-441-454-260-226

Thanks Sharps,
That's exactly the right route. Alas, the gun is already over here! I may just put it on my certificate next year and see if Nigel can do the whole thing in a week if I ask really nicely. I'd been hoping someone here did a pick-up and ship service.

Leo, Bill Hambidge of New Bern, N.C. is the sole representative in the USA for Teague bbl. liners. He post here and over on the LC Smith site. ken

Thanks, guys, the connections on this board are, as usual, remarkable.

Leo,

Bear in mind you have a local representative; anything I can do do to help just let me know. Are you swimming over this season?

Eug

Thank you, very kind. Mine's a pint

Leo, getting it over to the UK doesn't seem to be the problem. Perhaps someone attending the VC might accomodate you though?
